예배당, 신학과 교리를 대변하는 공간

30일간의 유럽여행. 5개국 18개 도시를 돌며 많은 곳을 들렀지만, 가장 기억에 남은 장소는 예배당이다. 아마도 숙소 다음으로 많이 머무른 장소가 아닐까 싶다. 예배당에 한 번 들어가면 회중석에 30분이고 한 시간이고 편안히 앉아 내부를 구경하곤 했었다. 그렇게 여러 번 예배당을 살펴보다 보니, 정확한 이름과 용도를 알 수 없는 낯선 것들이 종종 눈에 들어오곤 했다.
